The typescript reveals no information on authorship of the translation, but the text correspondonds to the MacKinnon brothers' translation of 'Treasure Island' published as 'Eilean an ionmhais', edited by Trueman Matheson, Nova Scotia: Sìol CUltural Enterprises, 2010.
