Scope and Contents
The letters and notes are mainly short, and concern some of Rafferty`s manuscripts, which Betty Cummings may have been typing for him; there is also some domestic detail in the longer letters. The poems are a manuscript of `Case history`, and typescripts of `Exposition`, `Biography`, `Soliloquy`, `Finale` and an untitled poem beginning `Dryden and Donne ...`. The vendor also supplied copies of some photographs of Betty Cummings and her circle, some of whom are mentioned in the letters.
