The contents are as follows:
(i) Transcript, undated, with commentary by James Maidment, of ‘A genealogical account of the family of Glencairn’, a manuscript assigned by Maidment to the early 18th century and possibly to Robert Mylne. (folio 1);
(ii) Notes, apparently by Maidment, on baronies within the earldom of Buchan (folio 40); with one leaf (folio 85) describing the peerage, published in ‘Collectanea genealogica’.
