Draft of a letter, 11 October 1808, of Irvine to an unnamed correspondent, mainly reporting on his Ossianic investigations. 2 folios, quarto, partly cross-hatched. Mackechnie, no. 8.

Draft of a letter, paper date 1806, of Irvine to an unnamed correspondent, containing a report probably for the Highland Society of Scotland on a manuscript written by Hugh Maclean, dated 1692-1698. From the description, this is likely to be NLS MS.14873. 2 folios, folio. Mackechnie no. 9.

Letter, June 12 [1806], to Irvine from Malcolm Laing, enclosing a letter, 20 May 1806, of John MacDiarmid to Henry Mackenzie concerning Ossianic matters. 7 folios, quarto. Mackechnie no. 12.

Document, 1800?, headed "Questions to which it is wished to obtain answers from Alexander Morison formerly of the Island of Sky afterwards a Captain wih the North Carolina Royalists & now residing at Greenock."
