The catalogue is written on paper watermarked 1794, and is in five main sections:

'Divinity' (page 1), 'History' (page 25), 'Law' (page 52), 'Classicks' (page 68), 'Miscellanies', i.e., miscellaneous literature which will not fit into the other categories (page 86).

Within each section, the books, of which the earliest were published in the 16th century, are arranged alphabetically.
