The diploma is signed by Antonius Paulutius, Vicar General to the Bishop of Padua, and attested, 1665, by Aloysius Baratti, Protonotary Apostolic and chancellor of the diocese. The designer's name is in the bottom margin of folio 5. At folio 1 verso is a portrait of the recipient in his nineteenth year, enclosed in an oval frame and surrounded by drawings in full colour of flowers and leaves and of a peacock. The surviving parts of the text are enclosed by wide borders containing ribbons, foliage and fruits, and cherubs supporting miniatures containing signs of the zodiac (folio 3), various allegorical figures (folio 3 verso-4 verso) and religious and biblical scenes (folio 5).
