Pasted to the recto and verso of the front free end paper of the volume is a press cutting, in several parts, from the `Times` newspaper, 10 August 1871, of an article, `The supply of coal`.
Folios i and 1 are notes of John Francis Campbell; folios 2 and 3 are letters of Eyre and Spottiswoode, the printers, to Campbell.
