Letters, 1900-1902, of Charles Aidé to John Murray IV and Hallam Murray. The letters concern works by Aidé, and his disappointment at the falling returns on them. Folios 47-63.

Aikin, Arthur.

Letter, before 1840, of Arthur Aikin to John Murray III. The letter probably concerns a difficulty about the inclusion of a ‘picture’ for exhibition at the Society of Arts. Folios 64-65.

Ainger, Alfred.

Letters, [1872]-1873, 1888, 1895-1897, 1899-1902, of Alfred Ainger to John Murray III and John Murray IV. The letters for [1872]-1873 concern the Peek Prize Essays, particularly Ainger’s judgement of certain essays. The others mostly concern general literary interests and personal matters. Folios 66-97.
