Scope and Contents
This manuscript includes letters, 1850-1851, of Edmund Dixon mostly to John Murray III. They concern various ornithological works of his published by Murray.
Also included are letters, 1877-1883, of Florence Dixie to John Murray III; letters, 1860-1867, of William Hepworth Dixon mostly to John Murray III; and letters, 1984-1902, of William Macneile Dixon to John Murray IV and Hallam Murray.
All the letters are arranged alphabetically by correspondent and by date under each name.
