Letters to John Murray, publishers, of Edward Rae., 1874-1923.
Scope and Contents
The letters are to John Murray III, John Murray IV and Hallam Murray. They concern, among other subjects, the publication of “The Land of the North Wind”, “The Country of the Moors”, and “The White Sea Peninsula”.
A number of the letters are written on behalf of, and others concern, George Rae, Edward’s father, and relate to the publication of “The Country Banker”.
The letters are arranged chronologically.
