1932.

Manuscript notes, [1932 or after], of William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn recording topics discussed with his patients, aggression in particular, and the dates on which the appointments took place. The notes cover the period 1928-1932.The patients are not named specifically but by initials or part name only. The details would appear to have been collated by Fairbairn from his other sources. Folios 14-21.

1933.

Typescript, 1933, ‘Associations on 7:12:33’; with an accompanying note of William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn. The typescript is an account of someone’s complex feelings and emotions. Folios 22-28.

1934.

Manuscript notes, 1934, of William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn. The notes list briefly by date the dreams of nine of Fairbairn’s private patients. The initials of each patient are included. Folios 29-53.

1937.

Manuscript note, 1937, probably of one of the private patients of William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn. The note records a dream. Folio 54.

1938-[1941].

Papers concerning the psycho-analytical aspects of the threat of war, relating in particular to a group investigation, conducted by the British Psychoanalytical Society, into the impact of the threat of war in Europe.

Manuscript notes, 1941, of William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn. The notes would appear to record examples of the symptoms of psychological conditions, particularly schizophrenia but also exhibitionism, exhibited by Fairbairn’s private patients. Folios 106-122.

1945.

Manuscript notes, 1945, of William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn, ‘The “Adventurer” at Muir’s Restaurant on 7 August 1945’. The notes would appear to record an experience of one of Fairbairn’s private patients. Folio 123.
