The paper was read before the British Psychological Society, Scottish Branch, on 1 December 1934. The typescript is annotated ‘1st Revision (not as published)’. The typescript has been amended by Fairbairn. Folios 32-54.

Amended typescript, 1935, of an article, ‘The Sociological Significance of Communism Considered in the Light of Psycho-Analysis’, by William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn. The article was contributed to the ‘British Journal of Medical Psychology’, 1935. The amendments are by Fairbairn and the editor of the journal. The article is based on Fairbairn’s paper ‘A Psycho-Analytical Interpretation of Communism’ (folios 32-54). Folios 55-74.
