The letter would appear to relate to arrangements concerning accommodation for Fairbairn in connection with a meeting of the Medical Section of the British Psychological Society, 28 October 1953. At the meeting Fairbairn read his paper, ‘Observations on the Nature of Hysterical States’. Folio 1.
