Letter, 1953, of O Alldridge, as Assistant Secretary of the Authors’ Club, to William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn. The letter would appear to relate to arrangements concerning accommodation for Fairbairn in connection with a meeting of the Medical Section of the British Psychological Society, 28 October 1953. At the meeting Fairbairn read his paper, ‘Observations on the Nature of Hysterical States’. Folio 1.

Manuscript notes, ?1953, of William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn on hysteria and hysterical states. Included are notes written by some of his private patients. Folios 2-31.

Carbon copy, 1953, of a summary by William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn of his paper ‘Observations on the Nature of Hysterical States’. Folios 32-34.

Amended draft manuscript, 1953, comprised of typescript and manuscript, of an article, ‘Observations on the Nature of Hysterical States’, by William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn. The draft article is based on a paper that was read by Fairbairn at a meeting of the Medical Section of the British Psychological Society, 28 October 1953. The manuscript has been heavily amended by Fairbairn. It is probable that the typescript section of the manuscript is the original paper read by Fairbairn. Folios 35-66.
