Custodial History

These records were formerly in the possession of John Dickson, of Thomas Dickson and Son, Semple Street, Edinburgh, the last member of the Incorporation. On his death in 1892, they passed to his sisters and in 1913 to Alexander Mackenzie Ross, junior, his grand-nephew. Mr Ross gave them to Mr Reid of Lauriston Castle.
