Arrangement

The purpose of the Annual Club was 'To Commemorate the landing of King George the Fourth in Scotland, on the 15th of August, 1822'. There are two poems: (i) 'The Bank Notes of Scotland', dated March 1826, and attributed to Mrs Grant of Laggan (folio 13); (ii) 'Stinkomalee', on the study of chemistry in the University of Glasgow, dated April 1826 (folio 13 verso).
