Scope and Contents
The autographs consist of letters of and a few documents signed by the 1st Duke of Wellington, 1810-1847, undated, (folios 1-58), correspondence and accounts, 1814-1815, 1844-1848, concerning dinners where he was the guest of honour (folios 59-105), autograph letters, 1808-1877, of a number of contemporary generals, admirals and statesmen (folios 106-162), and a few documents, 1815-1817, relating to soldiers in the King's German Legion (folios 163-165).
