The contents are as follows.

(i) Papers of and concerning Henry Lindsay, son of Sir John of Ballinscho and Colonel in the Swedish service, 1637-1648, undated. Some of his debts were assigned to Robert Fletcher of Ballinscho. See also Ch.14884-14895. (Folio 1.)

(ii) Papers concerning the marriage of John Fletcher, Dean of Carlisle, to Katherine Gray, 1629-1633, undated. His brothers Sir Andrew and Sir George attempted to have the marriage annulled. (Folio 30.)

(iii) Papers, mostly financial, of and concerning Colonel Sir Harry Bruce, Master of the Ordnance in Scotland, 1616-1659, undated. His daughter Katherine married Sir Robert Fletcher of Saltoun. See also MS.17852 and Ch.14896-14905. (Folio 65.)

(iv) Papers, mostly financial, concerning Margaret Fletcher, Lady Innerpeffer, 1632-1636, undated. See also Ch.14412-14449. (Folio 153.)
