The 'Elegantiae Simulae Inusitatae...' begins on folio 4, and the 'Sententiae Celebriores...’ begins on folio 24.
The same hand has added extracts from Gellius and Ennius and notes on Roman measures and money on folios 1-3, and calculations on folios 11-17. The name William Paterson and the dates 1704 and 1707 appear on front and back covers. There are some notes in Lord Milton's hand on folios 17-18. Leaves have been torn out at various points.
