Custodial History
This appears to have been Keith's own copy, if the faint 'R. Keith' at folio 4 is his signature. It was subsequently owned by John Graham (folio 4 faint), Alexander Fraser Tytler, Lord Woodhouselee (folio 4 deleted, 'DKL 1813' (folio 4 verso), George Hutton, John Whitefoord Mackenzie, Writer to the Signet, and Bishop John Dowden (bookplates inside the front cover).
George Hutton seems to have been responsible for adding the interleaves (folios 138 and what follows), which are watermarked 1821, to the 'Account of all the Religious Houses that were in Scotland at the Time of the Reformation'. Most of the numerous marginalia and notes on the interleaves are in his hand.
