The contents are as follows. (i) Letters, copies of letters and dispatches of Lord Mulgrave, on a special mission to the Austrian military command, mostly to the 1st Earl of Minto, September- November 1799 (folio l); (ii) Copies of dispatches of Lieutenant-Colonel John Ramsay, British Commissary with the Austrian Army, to the 1st Earl and the Foreign Secretary, September-October 1799 (folio 69); (iii) Letters of Lord William Cavendish Bentinck, attached to the Austrian military headquarters, September-October 1799 (folio 87); (iv) Letters of British officers serving in the Mediterranean, chiefly Sir Ralph Abercromby and Colonel Thomas Graham (later Lord Lynedoch), 1799-1801 (folio 94); (v) Letters and papers concerning military operations on Corfu, chiefly of Francis Daniell, Commissary, Spiridion Foresti, Consul, and General William Anne Villettes, 1799-1801 (folio 128); (vi) Letters of Francis Daniell at Rosetta to the 1st Earl, May 1801 (folio 278); (vii) Letters and papers chiefly of and concerning the Prince de Condé, other officers of the Corps de Condé, the Bishop of Nancy, and various other French royalist officers and agents, 1799-1801 (folio 284).
