Scope and Contents
The volume consists of a pair of covers of a music book 'Presented to Ronald Mac Kenzie Pipe Major 78th Highlanders (Ross Shire Buffs) by his cousin John Ronald...' between 1870 and 1879, containing the front cover of a music book (folio ii) presented to 'Pipe Major Ronald Mackenzie from J.G. Hopkinson ... 1897' followed by three gatherings and some loose leaves from a music book containing piobaireachd tunes numbered 61-290, 319-324, with several unnumbered (folio 1), and loose leaves from various music books containing further tunes (folio 45).
