Scope and Contents
The volume has been ascribed to David Glen, but it is not clear whether he commissioned or merely owned the volume. The tunes were copied from a variety of sources, both printed and manuscript, between about 1896 (folio 133) and about 1908 (folio 203 verso).
Four items found loosely enclosed have been tipped in at the back (folios x-xiii). Leaves have been cut out after folios ix and 215.
Many marginalia are written in same hand throughout. Further marginalia, and some titles omitted in the contents list are added in red.
