88 folios. The two volumes contain two sections, one inverted against the other, each running from an end of the volume to the centre. Each of cover has been labelled: on the front cover ‘Black Regiment’; on the back cover ‘Subsistence’. The order of the foliation has been determined by the structure of the volume as evidence by the watermarks. The foliation is as follows:
