Scope and Contents
This series contains published articles and features relating to the professional and personal reputation of Ian Rankin. The articles either feature Rankin, or mention Rankin in relation to another topic. Included are both press cuttings and complete periodicals containing the reviews. The articles are from a variety of serial publications and from various countries. Many of the press cuttings are photocopies sent to Rankin via an agency.
The articles are arranged in six sequences based on the primary subject of the article: ‘Novels’, ‘Short Stories’, ‘Television’, ‘Radio’, ‘Genres’, and ‘General Career'. Under each sequence the entries are arranged alphabetically by the title of the work (if applicable), then chronologically by date of publication.
