Custodial History

William Wilson presented copies of this document to various persons and bodies (cf Ch.A.48), including this one, in 1709, to the Faculty of Advocates. Wilson had promised to bequeath one of the two `principal copies` to the Faculty but this was not done. Instead it appears to have come into the possession of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, and to be now MS.2052, ff 25-31.
