(iv) Four letters of Hogg, 1817, 1818, and 1820, and manuscript notes, undated, on the 'Chaldee Manuscript' (folio 34);
(v) Manuscript of 'The boar', Hogg's apparently unpublished continuation of the 'Chaldee Manuscript' (folio 44);
(vi) Printed summons, 1817, of damages brought against Blackwood by John Graham Dalyell, and manuscript discharge, 1818, of Dalyell to Blackwood (folio 48);
(vii) Letter, 1818, of William Blackwood to Robert Miller, and Miller's reply (folio 52);
(viii) Manuscript of 'Introductory note' and 'Marginal notes on the Chaldee Manuscript' by J F Ferrier, published in revised form in his edition of 'Noctes ambrosianae'; with a letter, 1855, of J F Ferrier to Blackwood concerning this edition (folio 56);
