Log-book of a motorist (apparently a resident of Killearn), recording routes, mileages, and names of passengers, with frequent social or mechanical observations, contained in a specially ruled 'Motor Journal'.
Scope and Contents
The first motor car, the make of which is not recorded, covered over 15,000 miles between June 1904, and December 1906. A second vehicle, a 30/55 Daimler, was acquired in November 1907, and a 15 horse power Humber Landaulette was delivered early in 1909. At the close of the log, distances of over 11,000 miles are recorded for the Daimler, and over 3,000 miles for the Humber.
