Bibliography

It seems clear that this, not Adv.MS.23.3.4, was the manuscript presented to the Advocates` Library by the Earl of Buchan which is mentioned in Somerville, Thomas. ‘My own life and times 1741-1814’ (Edinburgh, 1861), pages 41-42 and the editor`s (incorrect) footnote.
