Custodial History

The manuscript was formerly in the library of Sir Thomas Phillipps. It was bought by the Advocates’ Library at Sotheby`s, 20 May 1897, lot 650.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Presented, 1925, by the Faculty of Advocates to the nation on the foundation of the National Library of Scotland.
