Bibliography

Apart from ‘The Fortunate Shepherd’, most of the other poems remain unpublished; although extracts from several of the verses appear in ‘Introduction to the History of Scotch Poetry’ by Alexander Campbell (Edinburgh, 1798) and in John Longmuir`s edition of ‘The Fortunate Shepherdess’ (1866), where a chapter of the introduction is devoted to the `inedited works` of Ross.
