Custodial History

23.7.11A and 23.7.11G at least were owned by Mr James Philip in 1628-1632 (folios 4, 66 verso), 23.7.11A and 23.7.11C at least by Adam Mikeison, probably early 17th century (folios 13, 18). All were bound together by at least the 18th century (former covers); 23.7.11B was wrongly inserted into the middle of 23.7.11A; they were again separated in 1987. Former pressmark: Calig.6.12. The volume was acquired by the Advocates’ Library before 1807.

Presented, 1925, by the Faculty of Advocates to the nation on the foundation of the National Library of Scotland.
