The scribe gives his name and the date on folio 59: `Et sic est finis tocius regie majestatis scripte per me Jacobum Monynet xxixº die mensis Junii anno domini millesimo quadringentesimo octuagesimo octavo.` `Per Jacobum Monynet` or `Per Ja M` also occurs on folios 59 verso, 318 verso, and 385. Several slightly later hands have added sections (ii), (iv) (second part), (xxv), (xxvi), (xxxix), and (xliii)-(xlviii) ((xliii), (xlv), (xlvii), and (xlviii) are in the same hand). There are frequent marginal annotations in various hands. On folio iv verso are notes in Latin on the calculation of the date of Easter, and on folio iv verso notes in Latin and English on the phases of the moon.
