Founded 1990. Run by Scottish Film Production Fund but with its own rules – to provide funds for film shot in the Strathclyde area or made by Strathclyde based film makers. Financed by the Glasgow Development Agency, Glasgow City Council, Strathclyde Regional Council, and European Regional Development Fund. First project backed Shallow Grave (1994) returned investment in two years. Glasgow Film Fund has ceased trading
