The magazine is the only surviving issue of a series made on Cramond Island by children of the Lisle family. The family rented a house on the island over the summer for who spent their summers there for a few years. With article from 'The Cornhill Magazine' (1921) by George Lisle, explaining the connection with R.L. Stevenson.
