There then follows ‘Extracta ex variis autographis’: (i) Notes of a retour of James Dunbar 1432; (ii) Indenture, 1435, between Walter Halyburton & John of Spens; (iii) Charter of assedation between the same parties; (iv) Charter by Alexander of Ile Earl of Ross to Alexander McCulloch of Scary etc. with the office of Baillie of the immunity of Tain; (v) Reddendo, 6 January 1436, 5 merks to a chaplain in the church of St Boniface; (vi) A retour, 1547, of Robert McCulloch in the same lands etc.; (vii) Charter of confirmation, 1467, by John of Ile, Earl of Ross to the Abbey of Ferue; (viii) Narrating the burning of the old writs in the collegiate chapel of St Dudhoe of Tain; (ix) Extentus terrarumde Kilranock, 1295; (x) Charter by King William to Orm, son of Hugh of Glenduogin & Balmadethin; (xi) Charter by King Alex II of the same lands to Laurence, son of Orm; (xii)Charter by the same King to the same of the lands of Dunloppyn; (xiii) Charter, 1466, by John Lord Dermele to John Muirhead of the Inch of Batheat; (xiv) Convention, 1312, between Alan Abbot of Cupar & John de Inchmartyn.
