Scope and Contents

Decisions of the Lords of Council and Session, reported by Sir John Lauder of Fountainhall, at several periods, and in a series of volumes. The intermediate volumes containing Fountainhall’s ‘Note of Decisions till the Revolution 1688’ in a small octavo manuscript’, and his ‘Remarks in three quarto paper books from 1st November 1689 to the 1st November 1692’, are not known to be extant.

The volume containing Decisions from 1st November 1692 till February 1695 is marked by Sir John Fountainhall as ‘MS.PP’, and is placed in the Library as Adv.MS.6.2.14.
