Coarse groove shellac discs which are part of the Duncan Morison collection held in Stornaway by the Western Isles Library Service.
Duncan Morison was a celebrated musican from Harris and Lewis, Western Isles. These recordings are of Morison performing a variety of folk material, including works written or arranged by himself.

The records were temporarily deposited in the National Library of Scotland to enable digitisation under the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage (UOSH) project.

Digitised copies of the sound recordings are held by the Western Isles Library Service, the National Library of Scotland, and the British Library. The formats of the digitised copies are JPEG and WAV files.
