 Item
Identifier: Acc.14513

Scope and Contents

The name George Quentin appears at the front of the volume, but there are a few different hands throughout.

This volume has two distinct sections and uses. The first records recipes for food, drink and household items including breakfast cake, ginger beer and different varieties of polish.

The second section begins at the back of the volume and contains scorecards for cricket matches, largely featuring Lanarkshire in 1835. Opponents include Brunswick, the Grange, A Military Eleven and Glasgow Club.

Some press cuttings have been pasted into both sections.
