Archive of the monthly meetings of the School of Poets held at the Scottish Poetry Library, Edinburgh, containing copies of members` poems discussed at the meetings.
Scope and Contents
The School of Poets, founded in 1981 by Tessa Ransford, meets monthly in the Scottish Poetry Library. The aim of the School is to provide a meeting place for poets, new or experienced, to encourage and learn from each other. The archive contains copies of the poems discussed at these meetings, and an attendance sheet for each which also gives the name of the member who chaired the discussion.
