Custodial History
Peter Haining gave the bulk of Marshall Anderson`s papers and artwork, which had constituted a substantial part of the Attic Archive in Dundee, to NLS in 2011. He held back three large scale artworks in the hope of selling them commercially but no buyer was found. He then negotiated the sale of one of the works, `Walk Along the Dionard`, to NLS and gifted the other two (also placed with Acc.13227, but not accessioned separately).
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Bought, Peter Haining, Dundee.
