Scope and Contents
Six letters, 1798-1802, of George Willis, Church of Scotland minister in Leslie, Fife. All letters are addressed to Thomas Adams, and in the earliest letter dated 3rd December 1798, Willis complains bitterly about the growing influence of Methodism within the Church of Scotland. Later letters cover a range of topics, not least Willis`s son, his debts, and attempts to find him suitable employment in the East India Company or the Army.
