Literary papers of Tom Bryan.
Scope and Contents
Tom Bryan (1950- ) was born in Winnipeg, Canada, but has long been resident in Scotland, his mother’s country. A widely-published and broadcast poet and writer, he has published six collections of poetry, three non-fiction books, two collections of short stories and a novel. Tom Bryan has held a number of residencies and Royal Literary Fellowships, and was the sixth Brownsbank Writing Fellow. He co-edited `Northwords` magazine, founded `The Eildon Tree` and has edited other literary magazines and several anthologies. This small collection of literary papers relates mainly to his creative rather than his editorial work, though it does include some correspondence arising from the latter.
