Scope and Contents Chartulary compiled in Scotland containing a selection of transcripts of charters, deeds, and acts of the Bishopric of Moray, covering the 13th to the 16th centuries. The manuscript is also known as the 'Red Book of the Church of Moray'. Davis dates the manuscript to the 16th century. Borland suggests that the manuscript can be dated to circa 1540, with later 16th-century additions. (iii) Adv.MSS.35.3.3, 35.3.5, 35.3.8: 1740-1744.
