Mylne`s pagination and the size of paper show that the volume is composed of seven separate parts: section (i), section (ii), section (iii), sections (iv) and (v), section (vi), sections (vii)-(xiii), section (xiv). The papers appear to have belonged to Lord Swinton, and may be the collection of the Reverend Samuel Semple, Swinton’s maternal grandfather (cf. FES i, 172).
