The collection is known both as the `Denmilne State Papers` and the `Denmilne Collection`. Less formally it is often referred to as the `Denmilne Manuscripts`.

The contents of the volume are as follows:(i) Printed prospectus of the Sanitary Protection Association of Edinburgh, late 19th century.
