They left Glasgow on 29 August sailed around the north coast of Ireland on 30 August and arrived in New York on 9 September. The Jacksons journeyed through Saratoga, Lake George, and Lacine Rapids (Montreal) and arrived in Toronto on 21 September. They visited Niagara Falls and returned to America moving through Buffalo, Chicago, Minneapolis, St Paul, Pittsburgh, Washington...
