The letters and manuscripts in this folder mostly relate to a proposed publication by Newton Hanson about Lord Byron. The letters at the start of the sequence were possibly collated in order for them to be included in the work. Included in the proposed works were many copies of letters, mainly sent to John Hanson, father to Newton and an executor for Lord Byron.
