Original manuscript of ‘A Short American Tramp’ by John Francis Campbell, which records in journal form his travels in North America made from July to November 1864., 1864-1865.
The manuscript, which corresponds for the most part with the printed text, has been heavily corrected by Campbell and has several corrected proofs inserted here and there throughout the volume.
