'Exercitationes metaphysicae', a volume of lecture notes on metaphysics taken by James Hamilton, from lectures delivered at Glasgow University, probably by the regent John Tran., 1687.
In addition to the lectures, the notebook also contains two class lists (folios 1, 127), an ink sketch of a ship of the period (folio 124), and the draft of a letter relating to books belonging to James Hamilton's father (folio 125).
