Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series: Author Isaac D'Israeli (1766-1848) had most of his works published by John Murray. He was close friends with John Murray [II] and it was largely through this link that his son, Benjamin Disraeli, also formed connections with the publishing house. D'Israeli corresponded with John Murray [II] for over 40 years.
